How to Replace your Truck Bushings
Follow the steps below to replace your Torsion Truck's Bushings. Overtime bushings will wear out and/or become too soft. Also note that our Torsion Bushings are available in a couple different durometers. This allows you to change the feel of the trucks to suit your needs. Harder bushings are stiffer turning and are best for stability & heavier riders. On the other hand, a light rider will prefer a softer bushing, which will make it easier/looser to turn. You can also combine different bushing durometers by placing a harder bushing in the back with a softer one in the front.
Tools needed: 1/2" Socket/Socket Driver.

| Step 1: Use a 1/2" socket wrench to loosen the nut. |

| Step 4: Next , grab onto the bushing and pull & twist to separate it from the base plate. |

| Step 7: Place the bushing onto the base plate by pushing it onto the (3) pins. |
| Step 8: Next push on the hanger, making sure the pins are lining up. |

| Step 9: Screw on the nut. |
| Step 10: Tighten the nut with the 1/2" socket wrench untill it's snug. |
TECH TIP: DO NOT TIGHTEN OR LOOSEN THE TRUCKS TO ADJUST HOW THE BOARD TURNS – JUST KEEP THEM SNUG. Patented Exkate Torsion trucks do NOT work like regular skateboard trucks. You cannot adjust the turning radius, ease turning or increase the stability by tightening or loosening the kingpin on the truck. Tightening or loosening your trucks this way will damage either the bushing or the truck and will void your truck’s warranty. The only way to tighten or loosen the feel of your trucks is to change out the bushings. Please check online or contact us for harder / softer bushings may be available for certain models. Please note that both the wheels and truck bushings will slowly break-in after riding.
